The idea of the collection was to develop new possible dress shirt designs for Jousipaita Oy (http://www.jousipaita.com/) for both men and women. Jousipaita Oy is the only factory that manufactures dress shirts in Finland. Its biggest clients include Stockmann and Finnair. One of the goals of the new collection is to celebrate the company?s 90th anniversary and make it a factor in developing and strengthening the company?s image. The collection comprises five experimental shirt designs for men and five for women as well. The designs contain references to the history of dress shirts and also the studies on white surface on shirt materials. The idea of the new designs is about renewing a classic product, a white shirt, and retaining its status. The main themes of the collection are freshness, lightness, cleanliness and elegance. The collection is geared towards everyone who wants a classy, distinctive, quality shirt.
