[Alba] named after famous Skater Steve Alba and Steve Jobs (note the resemblance to the Mac "mini) This little clock was actually a last minute addition to our "summer" 2007 collection. The original concept arose from a discusion with Harry from www.mocoloco.com, he liked the shape of the Gator, he even called it "iconic" we also spoke of the Sony Dream Machine 1980's clock radio and he playfully challenged us to design a product inspired by it. A couple weeks later I sent him some pics of the prototype, he posted them and within a few days we had over a dozen orders for a product who's prototype was conceived/designed and built earlier that week!
