Charlottenborg Chair Added by ArneJacobsen

The Charlottenborg Chair was first shown at the "Spring Exhibition" in the Charlottenborg building in 1937. At the time the chair had a standard number for a name, but eventually it picked up the name of the place where it was first exhibited. This particular chair was Arne Jacobsen's preffered chair and was in his home. Today the chair is recreated from a 1937 design and is hand crafted from solid rattan cane. It is manufactured by Canemaker.
