Stereo is an object with double function to it. It is a table for temporary use; legs fold under the table and when hung on the wall, it becomes a painting.
It comes in various selected motives. The top is made of MDF board, the legs are birch and the fittings are powder painted steel.

Klaus Aalto works as a designer both alone and together with Fiasko, a group of three designers/artists. He has participated in several exhibitions with Imu, the self-declared Finnish National Design Team. He has designed items for Selki-asema, a new Finnish design company with which he is also working to develop his thesis work, the Stereo table, ready for production.
Klaus enjoys working on uncompromising projects in which he approaches design with an artistic attitude. These projects can be furniture, spatial and exhibition design or environmental art. Common to all is a simple and pragmatic starting point which receives a truly imaginative interpretation in his hands.
