This chair is similar in design to the Well tempered chair with the exception of material. The well tempered chair was made from sheets of steel loops, but the bad tempered chair is made from plastic. The plastic is a mixture of glass carbon and kevlar fibre resin that has been moulded to appear like voluminous sheets. It was designed by Ron Arad for Vitra.
