The Tulip Chair was introduced in 1957. Eero Saarinen wanted to create furniture that would "clean up the slum of legs." The result was the Tulip Chairs, stool, and a series of tables all with a pedastal base. The chair is made from molded fibreglass and has a swivel seat.
