The central part of my diploma work is the sensation that is closely related to touch and movement. Interpretations of haptics along with fragile and highly tangible materials such as the textile that I am using are helping me to re-create my own experience: the process of creating this installation.

Maja Gecic is from Belgrade, Serbia. She got her university degrees in textile design and art. After that she worked as an assistant at the University of Applied Art and Design, Belgrade and as a freelance designer. In 2002 she moved to Finland to extend her education and professional experience and refocus from fashion to interior design. Her pattern ?bee-hive? was part of the project ?white? at Salon de Mobile, Milan in 2004.
