The Blue Suite sette was designed by Eliel Saarinen for his wife's suite in their Cranbrook home. The settee was designed in 1929. The settee is of solid birch construction, with blue lacquer, and an upholstered seat. Gold triangles, which are reminiscent of Art Deco, decorate the settee.
