Samu-Jussi Koski (born in 1975) is a Finnish clothing designer living and working in Helsinki. He is a graduate of the highly-respected Lahti Institute of Design. Koski designed his first collection for Marimekko in spring 2005. He is currently one of Marimekko's main designers, producing women's and children's collections for all seasons. Koski's designs are inspired by the classic "Mari girl" from 1965, who was described as "A timeless woman who loves life. A woman who is filled with joie de vivre and who refuses to let anything get her down." Koski's own style as a designer has been described as "feminine and stylish yet flirtatious".
