Sal

This is Sal, he's a crocheted cat I've made myself.

He was designed to be our traveling companion, so he got his name from Sal Paradise, the narrator of Jack Kerouac's legendary book "On the Road".

You can find more pictures of Sal's adventures here.

Fall's Cocoa Neck Warmer

This neckwarmer is warm, cozy, wonderfully soft, and lacks the extra bulk of a scarf! Easily packable for those uncertain cold spells, trips, or style pick-me-ups, or to layer under a scarf in freezing weather.

Color: brown yarn, wooden button, light blue thread.

Size: 17.5 inch circumference. Has some stretch and fits most women's necks comfortably.

Materials: Super-soft blend of 80% Peruvian baby alpaca and 20% silk. Wooden button.

Raisin Gloves

Fingerless gloves that I made for myself using awesome custom "Raisin Yarn" from castleman.etsy.com.

She worked so hard to get the brown such a nice, rich color, and I'm really pleased with how the yarn turned out!

Costal Beach Scarf

The beaches in the Pacific Northwest have a dark majestic beauty to them. Dark rocks jut out of pockets of lighter sand, kelp peeks out from reflective pools of water, white foam caps energetic waves. Unlike the traditional idea of beaches where one can laze around in the soft sand and tan, they are often bitterly cold and windy--even in the summer. These very beaches inspired this light and lacey scarf embellished with glass beads that represent metalic "muscles" and light green "kelp".

Scarf made using mohair, metalic yarn, and glass beads.

Available at my Etsy shop: wickedwestie.etsy.com.
