This villa is located in Poissy, France. It was constructed between 1928 and 1929. The style is modern and probably one of the first designs by Le Corbusier that is clearly "International Style" (a style Le Corbusier would later define).

This villa is located in Noormarkku, Finland. It was designed and constructed between 1937 and 1939 for friends of Aalto. The design is modern and uses the forest setting as part of the design. Trees form the wall for the backyard courtyard, making the design something between modern and organic architecture.
