Pocket Toshi (prototype)

Pocket Toshi, named after Toshio Iwai, is a prototype of a music application for Nokia N95 made together with Teemu Korpilahti.

It displays chimes/piano on the right side of the screen and percussions on the left. Also an additional gesture sound (code by Marcus Malka) can be found when rapidly moving the phone in the vertical direction. Pocket Toshi is played with a round shaped cursor detecting motion based on values from the phone's accelerometer.

Pocket Toshi can be used with or without headphones. It can also be used as a pocket-size accompanist or for collaborative play in a Pocket Toshi band.
