Basic wine

I am Ville Lahtinen, a Finnish snowboarder and young entrepreneur, and I run a small company called Outowear, which sells hand-made snowboarding and winter accessories. See http://www.outowear.com/.

On April 11th, Ms Sofia Laine, a EU meeting coordinator from Helsinki emailed me and ordered 260 unique beanies to be distributed as gifts to participants at the Young Active Citizenship EU meeting, which takes place on 3rd of July, 2006 in Hyvinkaa. See http://citizenships.fi/.

Normally I make all beanies by myself but this time I had to ask some help from my mother, Raija Lahtinen. Since April, we have crocheted about 4 beanies per day.

This beanie, Basic wine, is number 260 of 260. Yes, this is really the last one of the series! It is made of Finnish Novita yarn, which is 75% wool, 25% acryl. For washing, I recommend hand wash in cold water, but machine wash is ok too.

In case you have any questions or you would like to order yourself another beanie, please write me an email to info@outowear.com. Also, you can leave me a note or a comment on Thinglink by signing up a for free Thinglink account.

Now I'm going to have a holiday. Have a great summer, you too!
